At United Way, we believe students deserve to feel confident and prepared when they walk through the doors on their first day of school. United Way of Otter Tail & Wadena Counties help about 800 local Otter Tail County children in need each year with a backpack filled with basic school supplies. - Make a Financial Donation
Financial donations are the most efficient way to help the greatest number of local students! You can give online, or mail or deliver your donation to our United Way office. - Donate Supplies
We welcome donations of NEW school supplies! And it can be an impactful activity to do with your family while discussing the needs of others that are less fortunate. Please see our list of needed supplies, shop, and then drop off your supplies at any of the following locations. - Run a Drive
Your business, neighborhood, or friend group can get involved by hosting your own mini school supply drive! When planning, be sure to set a goal for the number of supplies you hope to collect and a timeframe that allows enough time for individuals to shop.
